IMPORTANT!!!!
As everyone is aware, we and all adult resorts have prohibitions regarding cameras. With the prolliferation of a new generation of cell phones that include a camera many folks have raised questions regarding their use in the resort. At the same time, we are well aware that well many of our members have children at home and work situations that require them to be easily reachable. Recognizing these two issues, we are starting a policy of requiring anyone with a phone to use it outside the store area when in the common areas by the pool, gazebo's and clubhouse areas. We are not prohibiting phones, but request that you take them in front of the store where they will minimize the concern to others.

We hope everyone will work with us on this. We do not think it actually represents a hardship for anyone, but rather it will make everyone more aware of potential privacy issues.

NO FIREARMS PERMITTED ON THE PROPERTY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES,
REGARDLESS OF PERMITS !

CLOTHING OPTIONAL
*Clothing is optional except in TWO areas of the resort. THE STORE, as there is beer and wine sold and you must be covered to enter (Michigan Law). The other is where our NON-LIFESTYLE neighbors might see you. IF you walk your dog OUTSIDE OUR PROPERTY,
you must be covered.

ATMOSPHERE

Please bear in mind you are not at a show.
Your behavior will determine if you are allowed to be a guest in the future.
If you wish to return, keep this in mind.

*You must be 21 years old or older to be a guest or member.

*Illegal drugs or firearms are prohibited.

*Refrain from using foul or abusive language.

*DRUNKS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED

*Any undue attention given to members or guests without their invitation is unacceptable.

No driving around in cars except to leave or enter the resort.

PUBLIC BODY CONTACT

*We request that all body contact be limited to simple expressions of affection and friendship.

*Fondling yourself or anyone else in public is unacceptable.

*Provocative conduct or sexual misconduct is not permitted.

*You must carry a towel with you at all times and please sit on the towel for sanitary reasons when nude.

SPEED LIMIT AND CARTS
*The speed limit is 10 MPH in all areas of the resort for both cars and carts, and 5 MPH in the common areas in the front of the resort and the big hills. Speed signs are clearly posted.
*NO CARS ALLOWED ON THE ROADS AFTER 10 PM EXCEPT TO ENTER OR TO LEAVE THE RESORT!

NORTHAVEN EMPLOYEES NOTICE

Please be advised that throughout the year, Northaven Resort employs various local residents as well as members for maintenance chores.
They unfortunately can not be scheduled to work when the resort is empty and sometimes must be here when guests and members are using the facilities
DO NOT ASSUME THESE EMPLOYEES ARE IN THE CLOTHING OPTIONAL LIFESTYLE!!!
Northaven Resort instructs all of it’s employee’s, when they are hired, to treat each guest and member with dignity and respect regardless of their feelings to this lifestyle. In return we expect our guests and members to allow our employees to work without being subjected to our values either in conversations or actions directed to them.
PLEASE DO NOT APPROACH ANY EMPLOYEE DURING YOUR VISIT !

So many of our members and guests enjoy the privilege of bringing their pets to Northaven with them during their stay. Keep in mind, pets are not allowed in our rental units and only in your own camper, tent, or park model. We are happy to be able to maintain that policy but we need your help to ensure the safety and comfort of our pets, visitors, and members.

It is common sense to require that all dogs MUST be leashed at all times and kept quiet while on the Resort property. We additionally request that no dogs be brought to the bonfires, volleyball area, gazebo, or especially the grass area around the high traffic areas at the front of the camp.

When walking your dog anywhere on the resort property, take a garbage bag with you to pick up any droppings left by your pet for a variety of reasons.

If your pet can't help themselves and just MUST drink from the toilet, put the seat down as we have had three concussions suffered from the seat falling on their heads. This tip has been brought to you by some members that had the same problem after the wine and cheese party.

If you feel it necessary to run your dog unleashed, there is open grassland area (click here for map) immediately to the west of the resort between the camp and Antcliff Road. (Remember that you can be seen from the road so NO NUDITY ! )

We hope that you can understand that if you need to be reminded to follow these simple requests, you will also be asked not to bring your pet back to the resort in the future.
