Details: Does the name give it away? This event often occurs spontaneously on Thursdays at NHR…not on Newbie Weekend, its planned! A NHR member will host a kick-off gathering to help our drunken pirates forget about the workweek and focus on the party that is about to unfold.
Friday
Event: Newbie Welcome Night
Location: Firepit near the Gazebo
Time: 9 pm
Details: An evening of welcoming and getting to know our new members and guests. Come visit the Newbie welcome booth complete with Newbie ID signs, shot glasses, beaded ID bracelets, drawing for Newbie basket, Newbie/Vet mingle game. Light munchies served in the Gazebo and, of course…a Newbie welcome shot.
Event: Bonfire
Location: Firepit near the Gazebo
Time: 9 pm
Details: Come join us for a relaxing bonfire. This is a great environment to spend time with friends or meet some new ones. Bring your chair, your beverage of choice, and have a great time getting to know one another.
Saturday
Event: Newbie Seminar

Details: Join us to learn about Northaven and how to get the most from it’s culture and atmosphere.
Event: Pool party/Newbie Games/Newbie Welcome Booth
Location: The Wet Spot and Gazebo
Time: 1 pm
Details: The Newbie Welcome Booth will be in the gazebo featuring Newbie ID signs, shot glasses and beaded ID bracelets. Join us at the pool for an Old School Foam Party featuring a DJ and drinks in the Tiki Bar. For those who are not poolside, we will have fun, backyard games to play at your leisure in the field behind the gazebo.

Details: Hamburgers and hot dogs provided. Everyone attending should bring a dish to pass. Please vote for best side-dish…awards given for first, second, and third place.
Event: Dance (theme – ANIMAL PRINT)

Details: Spend the night dancing and socializing with the NHR gang. As always, this is a BYOB event. Don’t forget, you can pick up beer and wine in the Sexy Sundries General Store! Bring your favorite beverage, your dancing shoes, and your best moves.
